Emergency call this morning for a flooded laundry room in Vancouver. Water all over the floor.
Our technician tracked down the problem in minutes: the drain pump hose had come completely off.
Here’s what caused the flooding. When your washer starts a cycle, it fills with water until it reaches a specific level. But with this hose disconnected, water poured straight out onto the floor instead of staying in the drum. Electrolux dryer repair in action.
This dryer came in with a loud rubbing noise and poor drying. The problem was a worn and detached drum felt seal. When the felt comes off, the metal drum starts scraping the cabinet, airflow drops, and clothes can get damaged.

🚨 Dishwasher Leak in East Vancouver. This is why bad repairs cost you more.
Our technician was called to a home in East Vancouver because the dishwasher was leaking water onto the floor.
After opening the unit, he found something shocking.
A previous technician broke the metal panel that holds the door gasket in place. Instead of replacing the broken part, they drilled two big screws straight through the body of the dishwasher.

This Thermador refrigerator was not cooling properly, and the homeowner called us out to take a look in East Vancouver. In this short video, our technician shows what was really causing the problem.
Under the evaporator, there was a huge solid block of ice that had built up over time. That ice was blocking the evaporator fan from running, so cold air could not move through the fridge. When the fan cannot spin, the refrigerator and freezer stop cooling even though the unit is still running.
