Are you BBB accredited and certified for gas work?
Yes. EasyFix is BBB accredited and our gas technicians are certified by Technical Safety BC, which is the legal requirement to perform gas appliance work in British Columbia. We can show our credentials on request.
Why is my fridge running but not cooling?
The most common causes are a failed evaporator fan motor, a defrost system failure, a sealed system leak, or compressor wear. Diagnosing the right cause requires testing internal components and electrical continuity. Most fridges are restored in a single visit.
My dryer takes too long to dry. What is wrong?
The most common cause is a clogged or restricted dryer vent, especially in older New Westminster homes with long original vent runs. Other causes include a worn high-limit thermostat, failing heating element, or restricted lint screen. A clogged vent is also a fire risk and worth servicing on its own.
